When One Door Closes…Ask “What if”

When one door closes…another one always opens. Over the past two years, we have said goodbye to few of our good friends and fellow associates for a variety of reasons. These departures have reminded us of the importance of focusing on our ‘Big Why’ and ensuring that we are pursuing our passion.

To create a great life, we must enjoy our profession as it makes up a big part of each day. Going back to the basics and pursuing passions reminds me of why I decided to become an entrepreneur and why people choose to join our team. We were not fully satisfied where we were and searching for more.

When people reach out to me because of my experience guiding entrepreneurs, I challenge them to ask themselves some questions: “What if…everything you are going through is preparing you for what you asked for.” Justin Perry. As this quote shares, challenges prepare us for the future we desire, and I encourage each of you to evaluate your next steps by asking…what if?

  1. What if…you knew you could not fail and would achieve whatever you set out to do?
  2. What if…you knew you could earn the amount of money you expect and deserve (in proportion to the effort that you put in)?
  3. What if…you knew you could live the lifestyle that enables you to enjoy family, friends, and your interests outside of work?
  4. What if…you had the time and money to give back to the causes that you are enthusiastic about?
  5. What if…you knew all of this was attainable…what would you do?

If you are not where you want to be, I challenge you to find a guide who will help you with your game plan which will enable you to take action. It would be my privilege to be your guide on this journey. Together, we will re-imagine, reinvent, and set our plans for a bright future.
