Making a Change in Your Hospitality Industry Career? First Do This.

I quickly realized when I made the career change to being an independent business owner in the hospitality industry that there was not a clearly defined path to success, and it felt like jumping out of a plane without a parachute.

From my first-hand experience, I know it is difficult to make the leap when you are unsure on all that you need to consider and the steps you will need to take to be successful. It can be overwhelming…but does not need to be.

During September 11th, I was leading a 150-person sales force with our primary market being New York City. In 2007, I started out on my own as a meeting and event planner in the hospitality industry just before the global financial crisis. Over the past few years, I have navigated my team of thirty through a global pandemic when we were not able to hold face to face meetings.

My experience of leading individuals and teams for over 25 years, mentoring these individuals through multiple challenges and helping people make decisions on enhancing their careers in the hospitality industry, provides me with the experience to help you.

One of your first actions is to find a guide that will help you by doing the following:
1. Listen to your goals.
2. Help you establish an individual roadmap to being in business for yourself.
3. Challenge you to act.

More than ever, it is time for you to take charge of your own career in the hospitality industry. The challenge of becoming an entrepreneur is not having a game plan and not acting. If you find your guide, you will have your roadmap and a call to action.

I would like to offer you, with no strings attached, a conversation if you are thinking about a change. If you are not interested in our team, we will explore the best game plan for you to pursue. If you are interested in our team, I look forward to further exploring your story to see if we are a match.
